  • What can I say about Izakaya Go? First off, Go is amazing! He's always playing some Rastafarian music and yet, it feels really authentic in there. Go is seriously one of those owners you just have to appreciate. He works hard as an owner and as a server, etc. I've been here so many times, its ridiculous why I haven't checked in every time on here. At one point I made it to go here every week. Hell, sometimes when I leave and they greet you "goodbye" I yell back "I'll see you guys tomorrow!" And to no surprise, I do come in again the next couple days. HAH! I've told many many people about this place and every single one who has tried Izakaya has loved it! I have too many pictures from this place that I can't post everything just yet. As a tip though, study that menu! There is so much on there that its hard to choose. So as far as the staff goes, they all work really hard. I love how they all interact and check up on you constantly. They do get busy from time to time to where its hard to get their attention, but it's really not too bad. Also, the ambiance is quite lovely. I love the feeling I get in there. It's so calm and everyone's in their own zone. Now, on to the food! Ok, they have amazing food. I'm not going to get to all the things I've ordered, but none of them have let me down. I promise! Things I've tried (Anything with *** next to it is what gets me coming back): Sweet potato crochet*** Crispy Pork Belly*** Pork Fat Cheek*** Chicken Karaage Vegetarian Gyoza** Truffle Edamame Pork Curry Takoyaki ** Tuna Belly*** Chicken Heart Skewers*** Beef tongue Chicken wing skewer Rock Oyster** Dried Fish Over Charcoal Salmon Onigiri*** Poke Burrito Mushroom Zosui Porridge Jalapeño Bomber House Fried Rice** Soft-shell Crab*** Fried Squid Legs*** Whole Grilled Squid Deep Fried chicken Soft Bones Salmon Bowl Miso Soup Enoki Butter*** Dorayaki (Green Tea Pancake with ice cream)** Ramen Sausage wrapped bacon Chicken Gizzard Fried Tuna Belly Asparagus Bacon Pork Belly skewer Yakisoba with fish flakes Most of their handrolls/sushi Etc etc etc... Oh, and don't forget the drinks! They have all types too. I suggest coming in from 10pm until close because that's when Happy Hour happens. Also, check in to get that free scoop of ice cream!
