  • From the outside looking in, this condo seems perfect. Ideal location - wedged between the Air Canada Centre and Rogers Centre, excellent views, it's a new building with updated finishes, and walking distance to much of downtown. An added bonus is it's close proximity to Union Station which provides lots of public means of transportation. This all sounds wonderful right? But what viewers need to know is that this building brings nothing but problems. There has been a fire, a major flood, and elevators are constantly out of service for WEEKS. Yes weeks, not days (which is insane as there are 50+ floors)! The Ice Condos consist of incompetent security, inconsistent rules and unhelpful building management. As a tenant here I have talked with MANY individuals in the building who complain about the same issues as I. Many who live here want to move out and those that you see in the hallway are most likely AirBnB-ers. My own security once made me call a locksmith and pay $200 when I couldn't find my key even though I told them I had spares inside. I live alone, have my name on the lease and provided photo ID. Instead of helping me out, even after explaining that my dog was inside, they told me to call a locksmith. He arrives two hours later... After simply unlocking the door, I had to hand over $200. Simply insane - what a waste of both of our time! What kind of building management is this? This building is a joke - TENANTS BEWARE!!!!
