Do NOT move here. I moved in when it was brand new, leasing agents were super nice and helpful. Over the year of my lease,it has gotten increasingly worse. I'm SO excited to get out of this place!
Pros
* Convenient to Old Town
* The inside of my actual unit is fine....for the most part.
Cons
* If you're a professional like I am - you will be surrounded by college students or recent college grads. 2 days ago I stepped out of my apartment and was greeted to Bud Lite cans littered down the hallway.
* Surrounding area is not great. There is a trailer park on the side of the garage entrance. And multiple strip clubs just right around the corner on Scottsdale Road
* The speed bumps they installed in the garage are hell. I understand it's to slow the cars down...but they are way too high and rock my car if I don't go over them at 2mph
* When I signed my lease I wasn't told the garage would be shared with the business office across from the apartments. Leaving for work in the morning consists of dodging people headed to the business office, their cars and the speed bumps
* The leasing office staff, their professionalism and their care has decreased significantly. They also just switched management companies (previously Lincoln, now MMA) and I have had nothing but problems with the new management.
* They have not maintained the property in any way. The hallways look like a dorm room. Carpets are a disaster, walls are a mess, ceiling fans don't work and if they do they wobble so much you're worried it might fall on you while walking under them.
* The carpet inside the unit is the cheapest they could have installed. It doesn't wear well and just looks dirty.
* Light bulbs they install burn out faster than you change your underwear.
* The AC in my unit was so loud every time it came on I would have to turn up the volume on my TV and if I had it on while sleeping it would wake me up. I now know from living in my new place for just a week....how loud and not normal this was.
* The construction across from the complex has been ongoing for about 8 months...it would wake me up at 6am on a Saturday...and judging by the work they have completed...this construction is not due to be completed any time soon.
