  • I was sent to collections by the new management company. They sent me a bill that had some charges that I disputed the validity of. (Move out related costs that were not in my contract--specifically paying to have the entire apartment repainted--needed or not, although it was not damaged or dirty beyond light wear and tear). Rather than communicating with me to come to agreeable terms for the charges in question they sent me to collections. I have no problem paying a bill that is justified. I contacted them twice to seek resolution with no response, then out of the blue my credit is threatened and it's demanded that I pay a bill that is still invalid due to the fact I have no contract with them...only the prior company that no longer exists. This company is MADRONA RIDGE, who took over black mountain villas. This business is being run tyrannically and I recommend you run before you offer them your business or hard earned money.
