  • I can't say enough good things about Fyzical. My first experience, a couple of years ago, was at their Dean Martin location when I had a bicep tear. This time my issue was my shoulder. My injury occurred in mid-September of 2017. I didn't necessarily realize I was injured at first. I self diagnosed it as a strain from an incorrect lift but after self treating with Ibuprofen, BioFreeze, ice, heat and my TENS?EMS unit, I realized that it was not getting better on its own. I was having pain just lifting my arm above my head, picking up a grocery bag with my left arm, and even losing sleep because of pain keeping me up at night. I started seeing Dr. Anthony Tabor the last week of November. At the time of my assessment he basically said stop doing everything upper body wise because my injury was like a frayed rope at that time. Obviously, that freaked me out because I know a lot of shoulder injuries can result in surgery and that is not something that I wanted to happen. I started going three times through the month of December, took it down to two times a week through January and February and ended going about one time a week through March, while still doing a shoulder series workout on my own a second day of the week. Midway through I honestly didn't think it was working. It had started feeling better but I still didn't have full range of motion and I was still in discomfort, so I was a little concerned that I would ever get back to how I felt pre-injury. Then all of a sudden I noticed that the pain was lessoning and my range of motion was improving. I started back to lifting weights slowly and now I'm 10 lbs away from my bench press max pre-injury. It feels great to be pain free again. I highly recommend this place whenever someone mentions they are looking for a PT. I think they are the best in town. Also, the staff and assistants are super friendly and they offer appointments as early as 6:00 a.m. so therapy never interfered with my work schedule.
