I just received 3 calls from an unknown number in the span of 2 minutes in the middle of my work day.
On the third call, assuming it was an emergency, I answered waiting to hear some sense of urgency.
Nope.
It was somebody from this company, who was difficult to understand, stating the name of the company as well as "You have won two free Southwest airline tickets." When I asked her to repeat the company she was calling from, she became very rude, condescendingly saying after each sentence, "Did you hear THAT?"
I understand everyone has their job descriptions. And yes, telemarketing can be slightly annoying to the receiver-- but it is customer service, nonetheless. And I have no patience for rude employees with bad customer services. Let alone one that blows up my phone 3 times in 2 minutes.
