  • Either my husband and I just have incredibly low standards, or the previous reviewers that have complained about this place were just low on their crack supply - no idea of which, but I can say that this hotel was easily one of the better places that we've laid our heads in. We stayed for 50 per night (through Priceline), and for that rate, it was an absolute steal for the comfort and service that we received. The room was absolutely huge and was more than adequate for two. Flat-screen television, a small work area, a big comfy chair, and a large bathroom area with a separate vanity - hell, this was better than our own house. The water pressure in the shower was heaven - perfect temperature, and it was pretty easy to work (most hotel showers require an instruction manual, and it's usually written in something that looks suspiciously like Swedish). And the bed? Are you kidding me? For once, I didn't have to sleep with my husband's butt pretty much in my face - that's awesome! (Not to run down my husband's butt - he possesses the finest cheeks on the planet. But I digress.) The outlet problem didn't exist for us - they were located right next to the work area near the lamps. No problem at all. WiFi was free, which was really nice. You can pay extra for 'enhanced' WiFi, but most of the time you won't need to bother. It CAN slow up at inopportune times though, so be prepared for that. The fitness center here was a nice touch and very appreciated. We didn't use the pool, but it seemed generously sized and there were plenty of others using it at the time. The machines in the fitness center aren't completely up to date, but that's okay - they work and do what they're supposed to do. Free water is provided and we saw apples being offered in a dish in the morning, which was nice. Staff was all around pleasant and easy to deal with. A couple of things that would have pushed it to the five-star mark: - A breakfast offering would have been nice, even if it was just cold cereal, milk or fruit. Or if the breakfast would have been a little less money. I'm not paying seven bucks for a glass of orange juice. Just, no. The free coffee and little machine in the room was nice, though. It helped to keep my husband human in the morning, heh. - Parking here is a bit tight. You'll find a spot, but be prepared to walk for a mile before you reach your car. For some reason, this place is big on weddings. There were three weddings here while we stayed - in the space of two days. I'm seriously not sure why someone would pick a hotel airport for a wedding, but hey, to each their own. In short - we found this place an excellent value for the money. We'd definitely stay at this hotel again, should we return to the P'burgh area.
