I've had nothing but the best experience with new management during this transition period. My situation is particularly complex in that my unit flooded (due to no fault of my own) while the Gramercy was under previous management so when Lyon Living took over, repairs were still ongoing and no resolution had been reached with respect to my concession promised by the old owner. Not only was Ray from Lyon extremely responsive regarding my situation, but he was completely reasonable to deal with. I'm an attorney so I'm used to getting the runaround from people that break promises to others so it was completely refreshing to deal with a business that just wanted to right the situation.
Aside from the outstanding experience I've had with the new management, I'm also very excited that the new owners plan to build more units. I had such high hopes for this property way back when it was the Manhatten West project because we have very few upscale multi-use developments like this in the city so it's awesome that Lyon intends to build the Gramercy into the development it was intended to be. This expansion also demonstrates Lyon's intention to maintain/improve The Gramercy which I think most renters will agree is much better than living under a penny pinching slumlord.
