| - While I realize that this location may now (unfortunately) be closed, I did want to express my gratitude for an unbelievable dining experience on the Thursday of Super Bowl week in February. I had been in town since the Saturday previous and got food poisoning earlier in the week - so it really limited my vacation (including the opportunity to have a nice meal out).
My last night in town, using a Groupon and in a very packed restaurant, I was treated to one of the finest dining experiences ever. I can't recall the server's name -- he used to work at Kincaid's fulltime but had just come back for the SB rush. As food being introduced to my body was a gradual process, I absolutely needed a leisurely meal and that's exactly what I got. It was as if I was the most important customer there -- mind you, using a Groupon amidist a bunch of A-listers.
The service was genuinely and sincerely amazing and attentive. When the server didn't think my steak was cooked to perfection, I said I was alright with it (but he "knew") and he said he'd take care of it (again it's all good, the service and relaxing experience were A+). Then 10 minutes later comes out a steak cooked exactly right (mind you, I didn't complain or express issues). The appetizer and dessert both was great as well.
Thank you, Kincaid's, for helping me end my Super Bowl week trip with a really nice meal and evening out -- what a wonderful experience. I'm sure you'll be missed in Phoenix, hope to see you in Hawaii (or another location) if I get there anytime soon -- especially if the Phoenix service standards are the standard across Kincaids. Big kudos!
