  • In case you did not already know it. This place has the best service i have ever had in my entire life. Better than the french room in Dallas or Sparks in NYC. Last week after an event at the Wrigley mansion i was to go to dinner with friends, but it being after 9pm on a weds night there aren't many options until the leader of the pack dialed Donovan's up and they said come on down and stayed open until 1:30 am serving us in the wine room. I have been here before and had experienced great food and service, but this was beyond compare as i do not know of many restaurants anywhere that would stay open past closing for us "normal" people. The lobster Appetizer was amazing as always and my 10oz Filet Oscar style was cooked to perfection. and that was not even the best part of the evening. My many thanks to the staff for their grace and willingness to serve much past the time they should be there. If you want to impress then bring your clients / loved ones here and you will rest assured that they had the time of their life.
