I believe the previous review is mistaken. So just to reassure you, this park is not to be confused with the Aliante nature discovery park. If you are looking for dinosaurs and ducks, you've come to the wrong park.
We come here often enough because it literally is everything we need in one without having to deal with the children running all over the creation as if we have eyes circling our heads. It's one play area with equipment for the big kids and toddlers. Restrooms conveniently located right by the playground which is fantastic especially if you have children in potty training mode. I like that I can oversee all my children without having to go back and forth since the playground itself isn't humongous. Benches around facing the park. Open field for playing catch, soccer, frisbee, etc...it's even a good park to take a brisk walk or jog around a bunch of times and makes for good sprinting grounds. There are basketball courts at the end of the park that is closest to the school. Ample parking as it never gets busy to the point where you are circling for parking unless school is getting out or there are sport practices/games. And for the most part...it's well kept compared to the other parks. No swings. Just 1 donut shaped swing and a gazebo connecting to the park in case you want throw a party here.
Definitely recommend if you want to take the kids out but don't want to deal with too much other children or want a park less exciting so it gives you a moment to kick back. In other words, come here if the nature discovery park is too much of a party for yah. Lol. Parents should get what I'm saying. Hahaha.
Enjoy!
