  • To Whom it May Concern: On my return flight 4/12/12 I feel it necessary to make you aware. During the course of a 4 hour flight we rang for the flight attendants twice. After 2 times with out a response we gave up. Then later in the flight we rang over 6 x no one ever responded. They ignored us even as they approached with the service cart. Then another flight attendant 5 seats up rang to get their attention to ask a question and the male steward turned around and answered him immediately. By this point I was steamed...They ignored us completely and when I spoke up about the fact that they responded to the steward. The comment was we didn't see it. I said well isn't there somewhere that you can hear it? I said clearly you heard the other steward. The male brunette steward then corrected me and said were not stewards were flight attendants. and what do you need. I was shocked and said I don't care what the (expletive) you are called I don't understand how we can ring you 6x and be ignored and he can ring you once. I said never mind, I will file a complaint and do a review. He said well your only one of 180. I said keep talking and I will keep writing. Then when I arrived in Las Vegas the supervisor pulled me aside and instead of asking about the situation and circumstance she proceeded to chastise me about my language. Her name was Giselle B. The attendant had taken off his vest and did not display his name tag and refused to give his name. One female attendant was wonderful and did her best to rectify the situation. By apologizing for not seeing the call button. But the brunette male steward, was so histrionic and full of himself he never bothered to say anything except with a sarcastic tone. The supervisor was clearly not interested either only in chastising me, for an expletive. Never asked what happened and kept saying have a nice day! As a business owner myself I find this behavior poor at best and would not tolerate it from my employees. When the president of the company comes on to thank us for our business asking us to join the medallion club I would hope to be treated with more courtesy. I usually fly United, Jet Blue and Southwest. I am sad to say in the future I will look to book whenever possible my flights through other airlines. If this is the standard of excellence you hold for yourselves, both in flight stewards and supervisors. Very poor and lacking in professionalism.
