  • Katelin styled my hair 3 times; one cut and two highlights with cuts. After trying to stick it out and give her room to "learn" my hair, she progressively got worse cutting it and highlighting it. Horrible. She does not listen at all. I explained to her my hair's quirks and she flat out forgot from one haircut to the next; at one point blaming me for not reminding her -- when any reasonable hair stylist would just know not to cut my hair the way she did based on the type of hair I have. My highlights were a waste -- I literally could not even tell I had just had them done (and paid $130 for nothing); my family could not tell nor could co-workers. When I called to speak to Katelin about the no-different, costly highlights she told me that was common for the first time that SHE was doing them and they would be "much brighter" the second time...They were not. I changed then and went to Jennifer at BANG. Amazing difference. Jennifer is a total perfectionist and my hair and I love her -- after just one cut and one highlight! Katelin at Duncan Edward couldn't wait to get me out of her chair and rushed through my cuts and highlights and it showed. Don't go to Katelin if you do try this salon.
