rev:text	I love this store, but it gets a much lower rating because of my experience at the brow bar. First of all, the positives - it has a great selection. I don't see the need to spend a ton of money on make up because from my experience more expensive doesn't mean better. The do have the same things you'd find at a drug store, but also more professional brands that I like, such as Kenra. I love the Ulta brand cosmetics and I like to look at the clearance stuff. I'm not a Sephora fan - I feel like some kind of hipster poser going in there. I don't get the feeling in Ulta. I actually prefer to just get a hello when I come in (which I usually do) and walk around and have no one talk to me, unless I have a question. Ok now, the brow shaming part. Apparently my eye brows only extend about 3/4 of the way a normal person's does (maybe 4/5s? I'm not sure.) I never really noticed before because I don't spend time studying my or anyone else's eyebrows (but my mom told me since that this runs in the family). I have anywhere from fine to patchy hair everywhere - like huge strips of my legs that don't have hair. You can see looking at me I don't have anywhere near thick hair on my head, so hello. Anyway, where a normal person's eyebrows would extend I have a few rogue scraggly hairs that I hate so I usually just take them off with a trimmer. Recently they've been growing back really stubbly and weird, so I decided to go get them waxed off. I have had my eyebrows waxed before with no problem. They just work with what I have - why not, right? Well, I went to the Benefit Brow Bar here and she wouldn't do it. She drew the shape of huge eyebrows on my face and said my eyebrows should like this and I have to let them grow in. My eyebrows have never even come close to being that full. I could let them grow for 100 years and they'd never look like that. So, don't go here unless you can achieve perfect eyebrows. On a positive note, after feeling bad about myself for a couple days, this has led me to stop giving a f*** about my eyebrows and I'm just going to let them grow however they feel like and not do anything to them.
