| - In charge of a conference here and very happy with this choice. Situated right off the freeway, and even though it's situated right next to the airport, did not hear one plane. One of the registrants who stayed overnight there said she couldn't hear the planes from her room either.
They do have their own private parking lot, but being adjacent to the airport, they also offer long term parking for $15 a day. Since I was in charge of this conference I got there like at 6:30 am and had a hard time finding parking, felt bad for the rest of the registrants but the staff at the hotel was able to make up some parking spaces to accommodate them.
For snacks/food, there was a Starbucks on site as well as a private dining area. Haven't had this at other hotels I've used for conferences, but they laid out lunch menus before hand so registrants could pre-order and lunch was ready by the time we broke out for lunch. The menu there was a little pricey for what you get but there weren't any other dining options within walking distance or driving out (even if you did drive out, I would be scared to lose my parking space).
As for the conference room itself, we had the Cygnus room reserved. Temperature was perfect, site was clean and up to date. I had to as them to bring in ice water pitchers but they quickly obliged. Also gave us complementary pens and notepads for our guests to take notes. AV equipment was already up and ready to go for our speaker, and all in working order.Every staff member (cleaning people, servers, front desk were extremely courteous and happy to help).
Would use this site for future conferences again.
