  • Wonderful staff that always serves with a smile and super great poutine that truly does Canadian culture justice! If you like your potatoes "crispy", I would highly recommend the new line of "smashed potatoes" instead of fries because of the increased surface area of potato skin. The gravy is always pipping hot and savoury and the cheese curds melt beautifully in a stringy fashion that epitomizes how poutines should be! The portion sizes at Smoke's are huge and now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever been able to finish a medium sized poutine by myself. If you're a real Canadian, you've likely already had this before. If you're a passing tourist, I would highly recommend you go check this place out (or perhaps any of the other locations because this location doesn't accommodate any seats, just a standing ledge by the windows)!
