We were looking for a place showing the fight (maidana/mayweather) and stumbled into cafe polonez. Boy was I surprised, between the fun regulars to a collage of urban youth it was a fun yet oddly familiar spot in Toronto. The place is clean, with ample seating for 40-60 depending on the patio and despite only a few people working behind the counter, service is pretty good.
The Perogies and strudel really do stand out here. Just so traditional, but well executed. The fries and sandwiches are alright, but kind of plain, so don't waste time on them. Get the classics, bring some friends and have some fun
