| - I had a "Glow from Top to Bottom" massage while staying at the Tropicana, my masseuse was very nice, BUT the massage she gave me was not at all the massage that is described in the pamphlet! I was pretty disappointed. The description is for "25 minutes of the most exhilarating foot and ankle massage followed by 25 minutes of a scalp, shoulder, hand and arm massage. And just when you think it is all over, both hands and feet are popped into a pair of warm paraffin mitts/booties. Sheer bliss." The paraffin mitts and booties were put on me at the VERY beginning, and then about 85% of the massage was on my upper back and shoulders. I had taken my braid out of my hair ahead of time in preparation (and anticipation!) for my scalp massage, but there was no scalp massage included at all. There was a very, verrrry brief hand and foot massage. (When I get my monthly 60 minute facial at home, my facialist gives me a longer hand and arm massage than what I experience at Glow :-/ ) The whole reason I chose the massage is because I love foot, hand, and scalp massages much more than massages anywhere else on my body. It just wasn't at all what I was expecting.... and my expectations were purely based on the description in the pamphlet! The main reason for the two stars though, is that I reached out to Glow that same day in an email, saying almost exactly what I said in this review, hoping they would redeem themselves and offer me a different service since I would be staying at the hotel another few days, but I never heard back from them!! Spending a lot of money only to leave feeling disappointed is such a bummer :-( I will say, I thought the little relaxation waiting room was quite nice for a small spa, the locker room was nice... I hate to leave a bad review online, wish they had gotten back to me.... or even asked me how it was when I checked out.
