  • Tuesday night PubStumpers at the Duke of York has become too popular for its own good. If you (or a designated teammate) don't show up right at 6:30pm to hold a table and extra chairs for the next two hours, until the game starts at 8:30pm, you're SOL. After attending this trivia night weekly for the last year and a bit, I'm throwing in the towel and heading for greener pastures. There are numerous other establishments in Toronto with PubStumpers nights, hopefully entailing less gnashing of teeth, greedy table/chair hoarding, and aimless waiting around.
