rev:text	I only gave one star because there was nothing lower. This may be the worst hospital in the state. I sat 3 hours in the ER waiting room on a Sunday for a sore knee. I had explained to the PA that I DID NOT need a x-ray because a real doctor had just done one the previous Monday and found nothing. I guess they have to charge for something! When I was in x-ray the radiologist said "I am sending these to doctor now". I returned to waiting room. A couple of hours later and after I had watched numerous people be treated and sent home, I approached the window. There were several employees (nurses?) sitting on their behinds doing nothing. I asked "what is my status?" the receptionist stated "we don't know anything" to which I replied "that is the first true statement that you have made since I arrived". An additional employee entered the room and pushed a few buttons and said that the doctor had not received the x-rays yet. I returned to my seat. After waiting for what seemed like another 45 minutes I returned to the window and stated I was leaving. They fell all over themselves to get me to sign a release that I left "AMA"...what advice? I hadn't received any! If they attempt to charge BWC for any service it is fraudulent. On Wednesday of the following week I attempted to contact the Administrator to share my awful experience. The switchboard operator sent me to the Administrators secretary and there was a message stating that the secretary had retired in December! Are you kidding me? This hospital is a nightmare. Southwest Hospital is just down I-71 south, do yourself a favor and make the drive.
