Fabiola called me late on a Sunday night asking me questions about how much I am reimbursed for my services as an assisted living locator. I was unsure if she was a prospective family that I could help or a company that might refer clients to me (as elder law attorneys often refer to me) or a care home owner. I had to ask her three times to provide me with her name before she did so. Only after answering a dozen of her questions did she tell me her name and that she is thinking of opening a care home in Gilbert. After I told her it sounded to me that she needs some help to wrap her mind around the logistics of opening a licensed assisted living home through Department of Health Services, she told me "she's got more grey matter in her head than I ever will". Well, I have been in my industry for 15 years and have never, ever been treated as disrespectfully by anyone as Fabiola treated me...and she was requesting my help in filling her group home with residents!?! I wouldn't trust her to be within 50 yards of my dog, let alone entrust her to care for my elderly patients. She is nasty, disrespectful and has no class. She'd better keep her day job because she will go nowhere in the senior industry. If I were in the position of needing to retain an attorney, I'd steer clear of this one. Yuck!
