  • Huffington Post wrote an article of 15 reasons why Charlotte is the weirdest and #13 was the city's reaction to Michelle Obama's compliment to their BBQ. Charlotte said, "Our BBQ is just okay". And that's exactly how I felt about my pulled pork. Not much flavor, it just existed. I didn't see any big deal for the hush puppies either, are they supposed to be dry? The winners of the night were definitely the collard greens and bacon wrapped jalapeños. Our server was friendly and the ambience was chill, we sat outside in their covered space.
