Here's the deal....it's a Best Buy so you know the score. It's the customer service that makes the difference.
Visited this store strictly for the location (as it's the closest to where I live). Went in looking for a lap top (that was on sale). After looking at the various options they had available, I waited...and waited..and waited... for a staff member to even acknowledge me. There were several working in the department, but a group of 3 male employees thought it was more interesting to stand around talking to each other rather than helping customers. Anyways, I managed to speak to one (when they had a break in their conversation) and showed him the lap top I wanted..and was told that it was "out of stock". I asked when it would be coming in, to which he responded "either tonight or tomorrow or next week". Since that's quite a time span, I asked if another store had it in stock and he responded "they might....but I'd go home and check the Best Buy website before you go over". He also told me I could then "hold" the laptop if it was in stock, or just order it from the website as they offered free delivery for items over $100.
While I get it's busy and that I was interrupting his "meeting" with his coworkers...it was evident that I wanted to buy and he could have checked another store on my behalf.
Poor customer service.
