This bar was part of the Dormont Bar Crawl. This was one of the last bars we had to mark off on our crawl. I was with a group of people and I was the first one in and kindly waited for the rest of my party to come in. Someone yelled my name and I went to go say hi to a friend I have not seen in a while. While speaking with her, I was notified that one of my friends could not get in because , " he did not have a valid id" - My friend is from Aruba and came into town to visit. He was able to get into all the other bars without a problem.
The guy at the door would not give my friend the time of day to explain his Identification. The guy at the door stated, " You need a passport." - What type of ignorant response is that? For a bar owner to be that rude to a potential customer is uncalled for.
So I am glad that none of us bought drinks in that establishment. I will never step foot into that place again. I will continue to write about this place until it is known for its discriminatory actions.
