| - My husband and I thought that it was a good idea to purchase a PW50 from Ride now for our 4 year old during Christmas time, boy were we wrong. We had an ok experience buying it on Thanksgiving weekend and completely paid for it up front. In general, the people were nice, not as knowledgeable as we hoped, but it took a looooooong time to pay for it and get it all finished up. They said they would hold it for us at the shop until we needed to pick it up for Christmas so we took advantage since we didn't want our son to see it. Today, my husband stopped by to look to buy a chest protector for our son as an additional gift and noticed that they were now selling the same bike that we just bought (that has been sitting at Ride Now, not used by us at all) but with black wheels. My husband asked if we could trade the bike out, which they said was not possible, so he asked what other options were available to help us out. The only option given was that he could go to parts himself, ask if they had black wheels, pay for the wheels for full retail, pay labor to switch the wheels out. My husband asked if he could talk to a manager to see if they could do anything else so the salesperson left and came back and said the manager won't talk to you - that's it. While I realized the $1450 we spent isn't big money for Ride Now, we have 2 growing boys that will need bikes, helmets, etc as they grow up, and you can make sure we will NOT spend 1 more cent there. We understand that the options were limited as far as getting black wheels, but to treat someone that poorly that just spent money at your store as well as this so called "manager" refusing to speak to a customer all while treated like garbage and talked down to, has made our mind up 100% that we will never be shopping at Ride Now again.
