This was our first experience in an escape room and we failed pretty miserably. But we had a great time and found the room very challenging. If this were a life or death situation, it'd be time to bring in the body bags.
With a trip to the zoo nixed because of an overflowing crowd, we had to find something to do before we left town. We called Phoenix Puzzle Room and they (Matt I believe his name was) were accommodating enough to have a room available for us within 20 minutes after we called. They're located on the upper floor with one single entrance from North Central. It seems they stay pretty booked, so I would either call or reserve your room online. They were also able to honor the $117 Groupon price for 6 that my wife had found. In addition, there's also a $90 for $120 Yelp deal to help you save even more money than we did. I believe normal prices are around $30/person
I won't give away any spoilers, but we were in the Madame Lumina room and it definitely made my brain hurt. You're not going to see any pictures because they confiscate your phones. I don't know how this room compares to other rooms, but it was a definite challenge that I want to take on again.
