Although the plumber sent to my house was nice, I will never call Pure Plumbing again.
I had a shower that was leaking through the laundry room ceiling. Called pure plumbing and they were able to come out the next day. The tech arrived on time.
However, he refused to turn on any water or find the cause of the problem until we paid a $125 diagnostic fee and $125 fee for him to cut open drywall. The house was very new and I didn't want to cut drywall right off the bat. My roommate decided to go to our neighbor who was a retired plumber and see what he thought.
He came over and looked at it after the tech from pure plumbing left. He said it was a simple problem with the dial to turn the shower on and would be a $40 part and a One hour fix. No dry wall needed to be cut.
We had another plumber fix the dial for $125 including parts. I feel like Pure Plumbing not only tried to massively overcharge me but they were also talking about cutting open drywall without even turning on the water or looking at the shower dial. They say "free estimate" but this is really just an excuse to get in your house then try to sell you a $125 diagnostic fee.
Overall, I will not be calling Pure Plumbing again.
