We called before we came in and were able to speak with a medical assistant about our concerns (husband cut a chunk of skin from his finger 18 hours prior and it was still seeping blood). He was honest, based on my description, of what they might be able to do or not do. He said they would be willing to look at it and indicated they had a 35 minute to one hour wait. We decided to come in. When we got their we indicated we had called. We filled out the paperwork and waited a very short amount of time. When we were called back, the gentleman who spoke to us on the phone took a look, then called the physician in to see. She was there immediately. His finger needed to be bandaged so he could work that night. The doctor bandaged it up and told us that since it did not need stitches, we didn't even need to finish checking in and could just go. She gave further instructions for care and sent us home with extra bandage material (everything we needed.) We were not charged. Everyone there was extremely pleasant, kind, efficient. We didn't have to wait even 35 minutes, but how nice it was to be told in advance that we might. We were amazed that they took the time to treat my husband and not even charge us. This is not our first visit to the clinic. My husband was seen a few years ago for kidney stones. They were great then and are great now. We are so thankful this facility is around the corner from us.
