  • What to try: Fresh Mango layered cake. I ordered a mango cake for my aunt's birthday. The mangoes were very ripe and delicious. The cake was also freshly made and the cream was good. What to look out for: The mangoes very overly ripe and therefore there was browning happening on the mangoes! The mangoes were ripe but presentation was not good. Fresh cream swirls should have been put on the perimeter of the cake to cover the defects of the unevenness of the mango slices covering the cake. For a price of $40, they should have done a better job at the presentation because all in all the cake's presentation is what friends and family see first before they eat it and this cake is not homemade. It's from a professional bakery! Last tips: Call ahead if you want the mango sliced cake and request that the mangoes not be too ripe or else it may taste good but may not looking good!
