I have bought and sold cars at 3 of Russo and Steeles venues, Scottsdale AZ, Newport Beach California, and Monterey California. In addition I have done the same with several of the "recognized" names in the collector car auction business. Here is my take away. From a sellers point of view it is first and foremost that the car you are selling is prepared correctly and ready to sell. Russo allows reserves which is an option that many do not have. I run some cars with reserves and others without depending on the market at the time. Long story short these guys are in the business of selling cars at auction, they pour their heart and soul into handling the car from start to finish. They create an exciting enthusiastic environment that personifies the collector car hobby. From a buyers perspective the cars are well displayed, they have great descriptions and the staff is involved at all levels. To keep my opinion brief and readable, Russo and Steele as a company are personable, well trained, involved, and result oriented. At a Russo event you are recognized as a buyer or a seller but never as just a number.
