Came on a Saturday, which opens as an all day brunch and they serve dinner in the evening. LOVE that they re-invest profits from the restaurant back into the community and over 80% of our food is locally and sustainably produced.
Don't know if this was normal but they seemed very short staffed. Regardless the one waiter did a marvelous job. Was attentive to all the patrons even though we had to wait a tiny little bit longer - and not by much. I ordered the grits and the wife had the full monty. Both were really good and perfect portion size - very satisfying. It exceeded my expectations and definitely going to try to make it for dinner next time. I definitely tipped generously and it was well deserved.
