Expensive with subpar service and a hard- to-read menu are just some of the problems with Eat.
This unnecessarily loud (due to the not-so-background music) is overwhelmingly disappointing. For what you get, the prices are some $2-$5 more than they really should be. $13 for a nearly flavorless Reuben sandwich that was more bread than anything else is such a rip off that it's insulting. I mentioned it to my waiter and a lady came by the table and took it away, leaving me nothing to eat. That really made me angry. I'd rather eat a bad sandwich than nothing at all.
My wife's corned beef hash (which is grossly overpriced at somewhere around $12-$14) wasn't anything special at all, though she did like the green onions that were in it.
With how empty this restaurant is at lunch time it's no surprise they have to charge so much. Any less and they'd probably go out of business.
Then again, were that to happen I wouldn't miss them. Not coming back. Ever. It's a horrible restaurant with some bad people working there.
