  • Never again! I feel bad for anyone that takes their vehicle to this place and doesn't have basic knowledge of car maintenance or repairs. I went there after buying a Groupon for an oil change and inspection. I dropped my vehicle off in the morning and received a call later that the day. I was informed that my brakes were worn and that I needed new pads to pass inspection. I let the mechanic know that I was going to do my own work and that I would pick up the vehicle in a couple hours. Telling him this seemed to upset him. During this conversation the mechanic tried to sell me tires multiple times. The tread was getting low but well within the limits of passing inspection. The mechanic continued to pressure me giving me prices and guarantees how fast he could get the tires installed. Every time I said "no" he would give me another price. Eventually he gave in and stopped trying to sell me the tires. We hung up the phone and a couple hours later I went to pick up the vehicle. I was informed that there was an additional charge for an oil upgrade. I recall it was around $40. My vehicle does not require full synthetic oil but they put it in anyway. After the cost of the Groupon and the up-charge, I could have taken the vehicle to a dealership and received a better price. I didn't argue the additional charge. I paid it so I could be on my way. After leaving I drove a few miles and noticed that the brakes felt a little off. They were grinding and making and awful sound. I parked the vehicle and called them back to ask them what specifically caused the brakes to fail. Was it just the pads? Rotors? Something with the caliper? Instead of answering my basic questions he hung up on me. Classy! I finally make it home and I pull the wheels. Immediately I notice something weird. I am not saying it happened at this place but in my 25 years of working on vehicles I have never seen a brake pad have a 45 degree bend to it. I am not sure how it happened but I have my suspicions. This is how much I trust these guys. After replacing my brakes I paid another shop to finish the inspection. I could never prove it but if they were responsible for bending that pad they put many people's lives in jeopardy that day. I never leave reviews but this is one that I felt necessary. I wanted to warn and share my experience in the hopes that people read this and learn from my mistake.
