| - "Don't worry... we are a reputable establishment" was the comfort I was offered when they lost my two trousers. Guess what?!!! Abandon hope all ye who hear those words.
I moved to Pittsburgh 6 months ago and got attracted by this shop's cool name and decor. I travel a lot and have been using them a lot. they do a decent job, but cost a lot. In any case, I was happy to pay more thinking it will give me a peace of mind to trust my clothes to this "expensive" shop.
Come Jan 3rd, I gave some shirts, trousers and sweaters for dry cleaning. A week later, on the day of pick-up I get a call that they need more time with my trousers. A week after that I go to pick up my clothes and am told that they can't find two of my trousers. Instead of being apologetic, they give me an attitude that said - this is just part of business! I was promised a call next week.
Of course the call doesn't come! I call again and the lady makes excuses - "Oh! I was going to call you. But I first wanted to check with another customer who may have had your pants. And she was out of town." I said you promised me a call back, and I need my pants or a final word that I should buy new ones! She replies, "I will let you know as soon as I know, ok?" - NO! THIS IS NOT OK! This is not how you treat your customers. When you make a mistake, at least show decency to apologize!
It went for two more rounds - they promise to call and never call, and make the same promise again when you call. It's now almost a month and I'm left with two lost pants and a hell lot of frustration!
So, you might like the place when everything goes right (and if you don't mind paying so much). But don't think the extra money buys you better service or even decency when something goes wrong!!!
