So the first time I came here and saw an amazing girl named Whitney. Took great care of me, there was 25% of Hair left behind but she was so nice I didn't even care.
The second time I came in was absolutely atrocious thanks to a worker named Kersey or Kirstey, unsure of the spelling, but I remembered she was a cosmetologist not an esthetician. For starters, I'm also a licensed cosmetologist and I found out about her being a cosmetologist AFTER the horrible AND traumatizing experience I had. Just to mention cosmetologist do not get training on Brazilian waxing. We watch one tutorial during beauty school and thats it!
When I came in, to mention I'm always early, both the receptionist and her just glared at me. I tried saying hi and that I had an appointment at 445, and they both ignored me so I sat down unsure of what to do. Finally after 15 awkward minutes of me waiting, she finally just said "come back so I can wax you". I awkwardly followed and she just put me into the first room and shut the door. Amazed that she didn't even say "okay I'll be back just get settled in" or any further instructions, I got myself ready and waited. 20 MINUTES LATER she comes in and more nightmares follow. She begins to wax me and first pull I already knew something was wrong. Second pull was straight out when it should go against hair growth direction, left wax and immediate bruising on my body and the strip in her hand, I was in excruciating pain. She did not care or say anything, not even a sorry! She begins to go for a third but drops a stick with wax on my T-shirt, picked it up nonchalantly and just set it beside me on the paper covering?! Uhm how about the trash???? And then proceeds to finish by rushing. I won't go into the horrible details of the inside lips and rectal area. Once she was done she just left the room and said "get dressed and I'll see you upfront". Once I got up I realized I had so much left over wax I was 'sticking together'. I spent 5-10 minutes just trying to clean myself up. My Brazilian area was so bad, every hair, I mean EVERY hair on the top area was broken off and immediately ingrown. I had several BLISTERS already and so much bruising on my inner Brazilian area, and also had small like cuts from her pulling the wax strip improperly. I left incredibly swollen and bleeding, and still paid full price because I know the hustle of this industry even though she nor the establishment deserved any sort of pay for that. My skin was so damaged I had to go to the dermatologist twice! I'm just now finally recovered. I got this full Brazilian wax in late April. It is now almost July! That is ridiculous. If you can do anything, please avoid this place as apparently their staff is not interviewed, trained, or just caring people!
And just Incase the employer or management try to say anything about me not being there or not, as I've seen in many of their yelp reviews, I do have my receipt and pictures of what happened as well as documents from my dermatologist. Thank you :) please everyone be safe and do not come here.
