You know that little boutique decor place that you are always looking for? Well, this is where you will find it. We ventured to Reincarnation on our Saturday antique outing because it is on a strip of shops along Lorain that seem to only be open for a couple of extremely inconvenient hours each week (don't ask me what they are because it was completely confusing to me... Saturday from 12 - 2 o'clock is pretty much the only time I can guarantee these places will be open).
From the moment we opened the door to Reincarnation my wife and I knew we were in love. The shop straddles the line between antiques and repurposed furniture/decor. Repurposing is very popular right now but I can happily say that Reincarnation has done it right! It is a beautifully laid out store with unique pieces of furniture and art.
There isn't a ton of stuff in the store but what they do have is very nice and quirky. I did have a minor meltdown when I looked at the poor, destroyed rugs that were being torn apart by feet on the warehouse floor. They would have been quite nice in another life but it is clear that they no longer have any value.
The owner and staff are very friendly which is a nice change from the other antique shops on this block. This is a must-visit shop if you are in the area.... and happen to be available during their open hours!
