This was my worst experience ever. I've been in Arizona over a year now and was looking for a dentist that would match the care and service I received in Shreveport, LA. A co-worker stated she had gone to Western Dental in Glendale and they treated her right. Before I went I decided to google a few reviews. The majority of what I found was not favorable, but my co-worker assured me those reviews were when the old management and dentists were there. I wished a thousand times I had followed my mind and sought out another dentist. On my very first visit they rushed to sign me up for a plan based on the x-rays. I told them I wanted to take care of my extractions first and then work toward full dentures on the top and a partial on the bottom right. Before I moved out here, My dentist back home had actually started my treatment plan which I might add was $1200 less than what I was quoted here in Arizona. The visit was a 4 hour visit and very sloppy work. Only 2 extractions were performed and a half mouth deep cleaning. I'm thinking to myself the deep cleaning should have been scheduled after all of the extractions. Well, the straw that broke the camels back was my 2nd and last visit in which I was scheduled to have an extraction of #19 and the other half of my cleaning. The dentist was very nervous and stated you are only scheduled for a cleaning. I stated no, I'm scheduled for an extraction and cleaning which was confirmed 3 times with the reminder phone calls. Long story short between the billing of my insurance and $212.00 out of pocket, I gave Western Dental almost $ 600 for nothing. I continue to have 3 fully impacted teeth and a half cleaned mouth. The California office did not seem surprised when I told them I wanted to cancel my plan/account. I can't speak for the other offices in the Phoenix area, but the office in Glendale should be investigated and close. Something is not right about that office. As for me, I will be flying home to have all my work completed. It's worth the money to get it done right.
