The first time I went here with a friend, it was a great experience! But I've been back twice with my husband, and both times were very disappointing. This is an upscale restaurant with upscale prices -- the service needs to match the prices. The last time we were here, our server must have forgotten about us or was purposely avoiding us. We couldn't tell her our food wasn't right. We couldn't tell her we wanted another drink. We couldn't tell her we wanted to order dessert. So we just asked for our bill and went elsewhere to finish our meal.
The food IS pretty good, and while some flavor combinations are just not for me, I like trying new things. I love the scallops and pork belly. The Miga Crunch Fries are the BEST thing on the menu! The salad with sashimi was pretty good, although the chunks of tuna were really big - which isn't always a great thing, especially for raw fish.
The atmosphere is pretty nice. I like the old movies that are projected onto the wall.
But all in all, I can't justify a $120 dinner for two people here. The place isn't that big, and the servers can't possibly be so busy that they ignore their guests.
