We visited based on Guy Fieri's recommendation on "The Best Thing I Ever Ate". We were not sure what to make out upon arrival. It is an older drive in style restaurant. The ordering microphone did not work very well so a gentleman came out and took our order. We ordered the 1/2 chicken to split as we just wanted to try and see what all the fuss was about. We received a large bow with 4 pieces of what looked like fried chicken with a red hot sauce all over it, some cole slaw, and french fries. We drove off and ate it while driving. Once we saw that it was fried chicken we felt that it was not going to be that good. After eating a few pieces I was still not impressed but kept eating. All of a sudden it was gone and I was licking my fingers wondering where it all went. Should we go back for more? I think the red hot sauce has some sort of additive substance that once you have some, it leaves you wanting more.
Skin on chicken was delicious. Sauce was awesome..
Cole slaw was great. Didn't eat the french fries.
