| - Jim has worked on my cars for almost ten years, so when he told me that he now had a profile on Yelp, I was more than happy to post a review.
The first thing any of Jim's customers would probably say about him is that he is 100% honest, contrary to the stereotype many of us have about mechanics. Unlike a lot of dealerships and independent auto shops, Jim doesn't try to upsell unnecessary work, and will tell you what your car needs done now, versus what could probably safely wait a while longer before addressing. I've even seen him talk other customers out of doing work that wasn't needed, or whose cost would outweight any value provided.
I wouldn't still be using his services after all these years if his work wasn't top-notch, which of course it is. He's pretty much a perfectionist, and doesn't do substandard work or take shortcuts just to cram more customers into his schedule. Jim's also versatile; I've seen Porsches, classic 50's Chevy's, and everything in-between in his shop. Chances are, if you drive it, he can fix it.
I'm sure that if you use Jim for your auto service, you'll be thrilled with his fair prices and excellent work, and become another one of his loyal repeat customers.
