| - We decided to stay here because they were the closest most reasonably priced pet friendly hotel close to my family who lives in Vegas...we were not there for the nightlife on The Strip. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The grounds are well kept and clean of debris. Our room unfortunately was on the second floor....I say unfortunate because our dog is 17 years old and without an elevator, he had a hard time with the stairs. I didn't ask for another room because we had just been on the road for 10 hours, the temp outside was 110 and we just wanted some cool place to relax. And...the room was very cool which was a welcome to us--we sure did appreciate that! I didn't realize that it had a full kitchen or I would have brought things with us like plastic utensils, liquid dishwashing soap, paper plates, & more food that just snacks. I would have thought with a full kitchen (by that I mean full sized stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher), the hotel would have supplied a full set of eating utensils and dishes, sauce pans, skillet, etc. I mean they could do a "check out" at the front desk for the dishes etc. for a deposit and "check in" at the front desk to get a refund on the deposit. The vanity counter top was so darned small.....I was very disappointed by that. The towels and washcloths were so cheap and rough, I wished I had brought my own. I found out the last day there from my next door neighbor that we could have asked for the "fluffy towels". Overall, the location was right for us, the a/c was GREAT, the room and grounds were very clean, right next to a park which was great for our dog, staff nice and accommodating, because of the kitchen, we went out and got a few grocery items and that saved us some money. In the bathroom, the sink was separate from the tub and commode so that was good. TV in living area and bedroom, which was great because we don't always want to watch the same thing. We will definitely stay there again.
