My ongoing Bingo research project brought me to Santa Fe Station tonight. My goal is to play Bingo at every Bingo Room in the valley.
This is the eleventh different place I've played, and by far the nicest. Nicer than Red Rocks (sorry Red, Santa Fe is my number one now). Most Bingo Rooms are just not that comfortable. Usually the chairs are terrible. The rooms are often way too big, too. You finally hit a Bingo and you have to split it 12 ways.
This place is new, nice and designed with player comfort in mind. Mad respect to the team that drew up this plan. This room is a total pleasure for Bingo players. Get this: The whole damn main room is non-smoking! Smokers aren't neglected though. They have their own section but it's totally sealed off.
A Bingo room's staff is usually the main factor in determining whether I return. Some places the staff is rude (yeah, I'm looking at you Gold Coast) and you never want to go back. Some places the staff are so wild and crazy you can't wait to play again. And some places, like here, have really helpful Bingo agents that expertly guide you through the myriad decisions you make as you put together your package of cards.
The cocktail service is phenomenal. It's Game 6 and I'm good and tight.
Mikey C says. Nice!
