| - I have struggled with finding a stylist who "gets" my hair for most of my adult life. My hair is thick, curly, and generally a pain to deal with. I'm not a person who likes to spend a lot of time on my hair, either, so I need a style that meshes with my "wash and go" lifestyle. (well, wash and go with a lot of de-frizzing agents)
Two haircuts ago (at a different salon) I got THE worst haircut of my life. I felt like a Persian cat who'd been shaved. I looked ridiculous and was pretty embarrassed to be seen. I even cried because it was so bad. And I don't cry for anything.
So this past weekend, with great hesitation, I went for a quick trim at Eddy's. My hair is still growing out from my bad cut, and I'm still very scarred from the experience, but Raqui did an excellent job making me feel at ease - and she gave me a damn good haircut. Normally my hair rebels for a few days after I get it cut and I look like a brunette version of little orphan Annie, but not with this cut! It looks great! It's easy to style and is exactly what I wanted. Annnd...it was only $25!
I will definitely be going back to Eddy's for another cut in the future. I got color and highlights the last time I was in (a month or two ago) and my highlights are still going strong. They tend to fade out pretty quickly, but not this time.
Highly recommended!
