This company is an absolute joke.
Amazon sent me a notification that OnTrac had tried to deliver my package at 7pm tonight (same day from Amazon) but that no one was home, I was at home all day waiting.
I called OnTrac at 830pm and got hold of their call center. I was put on hold while the call taker reached the local shipment center who, in turn reached out to the driver for redelivery tonight. I was told that it would arrive tonight.
At 1130pm I called OnTrac again to find out where the driver was and they told me there was no record of my earlier call, what a joke. They told me that if I wanted it redelivered (why wouldnt I?) that it would be delivered tomorrow after 5pm as same day deliveries get sent out then. I said, it's already a day late now and they said I have to call Amazon to make any changes to the shipment. Ridiculous. Then the supervisor proceeded to tell me that me that if they make 2 more unsuccessful delivery attempts that it would be shipped back to Amazon - what part of 'your driver didn't try and deliver it in the first place' did they not understand? Cretins.
This is actually the third time this has happened and I've even called before leaving my cell phone number for the drivers to call if no one answers the door. This time, the driver didn't even attempt to ring the buzzer.
Looking at some of the other reviews it seems like this is just the way they do business in this area. Amazon, please do the right thing and get a decent courier service.
