| - The Wicked Spoon Buffet at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is often regarded as one of the best buffets on the Strip. We dropped in around 7p.m on a Saturday night to find that the line to get in was about an hour's wait, but it went by rather quickly and we were seated as soon as there were open tables. Dinner here runs about $35, but features some of the better buffet options I have seen in recent years. I'm not too big on buffets, but this one was definitely a good choice catering to many different palates with a slightly refined twist. They have the usual suspects of prime rib, side dishes, and a multitude of desserts, but it was their Asian foods and gourmet takes on items like chicken wings, spaghetti and lamb meatballs, and even their inclusion of bone marrow that sealed the deal for me. They also had delicious crab legs, mussels in white wine broth, and other such tasty treats from the sea.
As with any buffet, to get your money's worth you have to come hungry. There was so much to try, we didn't get to it all, but overall, we've decided that this will be a place worth checking out again. Oh, and be sure to grab some of their awesome gelatos and their chocolate covered strawberries! Indulgent and tasty. Las Vegas excess in all the best ways.
