I checked out the opening of the QuartHaus yesterday and had a couple of brews. It was a little tough to find but after trying a few doors we were greeted by a friendly bartender that walked us through the concept and where they are heading.
The site is modern, clean, and has plenty of space for large groups. Their bar area dominates the main room but they have an open larger room with plenty of seating next to some of the still equipment they will be using to craft their own spirts. There is no food here but I was told they will have food trucks and also have a place right next door that will. The grounds are open and their liquor license covers the who area so you can walk around with your drinks which is really nice and something I wish you could do at Barnone. The outside area has cornhole, Bball court, and lots of grass to chill in with great seating.
The beer list was good but they are still growing into it. They are also trying to run with less mainstream flavors of many of the breweries you know and love. I would love to see an NE style IPA in the future but again they are just getting rolling.
