I come here often. This was actually my third time this week. I brought my daughter who wanted to order the feta pasta salad but was afraid she wasn't going to like the mustard vinigarette. She hates mustard. I assured her she would like it but she insisted on asking for a different kind of dressing and the server told her no. So i asked if he could bring out a teaspoon of the mustard vinigarette so she could taste it. The server told me he would have to ring it in and i would be charged for a side of vinigarette. I told him no and told him we will need a few minutes to decide if we even wanted to stay here or go somewhere else to eat. He comes back and asks if we are staying. I was surprised that he didn't seem to care less. I asked again if he was sure she couldn't try just a small taste because I love it and I'm sure my daughter will, too. He said he will ask but his name is not Romeo and doesn't own the restaurant. Wow, that was rude. He comes back with a tiny amount and she likes it.
A few minutes later a grouchy old man comes out from the kitchen and made some kind of loud scene about spending only $30 and stomps out of the restaurant. I never would've noticed him if he didnt have that little temper tantrum. I was spending $30 so it may have been referring to me. Then I notice the servers going outside. So I looked up info about this place. Sure enough, the man that made the scene is none other than Romeo himself.
It's too bad, I dined there often and I fly 150-300 people a day into this city and recommended this place to people frequently since its hidden from all the other restaurants in downtown Gilbert. Well, I can guarantee you that will never happen again.
Sorry Euro Cafe, don't bite the hands that feed you.
