Bottom line: good but not the best value. I tried both the katsu with and without cheese. With cheese it's above average, tender and not dried out. Without cheese, the katsu is very average. At the price point of around $12-$15, the quality is similar to some take out places I've had (under $10).
The wooden interior of the restaurant is clean and simplistic but the stools were quite uncomfortable - also impracticable with a jacket and a purse.
The wait for the food was around 15-20minutes on a busy weekend afternoon. The service was attentive but overall nothing special.
