| - I have went to Sunstone for years and it was great up until the brothers (previous owners) sold out. The new management is far less customer focused. It is funny to me the for years with the previous owners I had great visits but now the wait to get in is normally 30 min+ after appointment time, I suddenly now need extra work done that "the previous dentist did not have the level of detail that is required for dentistry". Finally, the billing department... with extra procedures needed they are nice enough to submit to insurance first, tell the customer it is covered for a minimal amount due to the patient, then after the procedure insurance does not pay. The messed up part is when you call insurance to get it sorted out the insurance company tells you that it is not covered and the dentist office never called to get pre-approval. Sunstone admitted they made a mistake... the silly part, on my part, was to accept the mistake, pay full price for their error, and I stayed with them. Fast forward 6 months, exact same thing happens again! Same "error" but for far more money! Now, my new dentist says that I did not need either procedure and I wasted my time and money! Don't go here, they are after the money not correct treatment of patients.
