| - IMPORTANT CONTEXT
I originally posted this review 5 months ago. Albeit being ENTIRELY FACTUAL, I have a VERY LOW TOLERANCE for negativity, and deleted the review. I am reposting this review so I can provide an IMPORTANT UPDATE.
November, 2017
I am writing this review today to illuminate five different tenant infringements that are condoned and not addressed by Kinney Management at this time. I have attempted to contact Kinney Management multiple times before writing this letter to the board, and after 4 attempts, received a response from Mr. Scott Darnell who is less than interested in assisting on these matters.
As a tenant with zero complaints or reports, I ask that you take the time to review each nuisance I am going to describe and list below.
1. Driveway Parking:
There are cars consistently parked in the road, right in front of people's homes. It is mandated that we "park our cars in our driveways and garages." Yet, several tenants fail to park their cars in the driveway every single night. Not one, but two cars are left in front of my property on a daily basis.
2. Loud Pets:
I thought all "pets must be controlled" in this development? Again, several tenants leave their dogs outside, all day long, on their front patio. These dogs sit in the heat and bark nonstop, disturbing tenants, other pets, and people visiting the development.
3. Landscaping Infringements:
There is exposed PVC plumbing, construction holes, and dead plants littered throughout front and backyards. The stream is basically empty, and beehives swarm trees, presenting dangerous living conditions for those nearby. I would expect better for this development.
4. Front Gate:
Our front gate is, and continues to be, accompanied by a broken keypad. Being able to access my community and my home should be a fundamental concern for our Homeowners Association.
5. Cottonwoods Manual:It takes multiple attempts to have anyone Kinney Management return my calls. When they do, they are rude, and make me feel like a nuisance. I had a particularly bad experience with your employee, Scott Darnell.
CONCLUSION
I am left wondering why I am paying a monthly management fee for a company that does absolutely nothing to fix and address shortcomings in the neighborhood? Not to mention, a company with a B- Better Business Bureau rating, and a 1-star average on multiple online review platforms, most notably Yelp.com.
